BIOGRAPHY
Mina Hakakian is the principal and name partner of HWLGPC. She is an accomplished business and insurance trial attorney who leads the firm’s healthcare-provider insurance recovery practice. Coming from a family of physicians, Ms. Hakakian understands many of the challenges healthcare providers face when dealing with ERISA plans and large insurance payers. Her practice includes medical billing disputes, administrative claims for benefits, and appeals of denied or underpaid claims.
Ms. Hakakian has significant trial and litigation experience in healthcare-provider benefits recovery. She has negotiated settlements for physicians and healthcare facilities navigating the complex medical-payment landscape.
Mina Hakakian has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2006. She is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California.
